👋 Hello!
I’m Zach Hill, a design strategist and incoming graduate student in the CSUN Design & Innovation (MDI) program.
I help organizations and institutions translate complex human and systemic challenges into clear, research-informed design strategies. My work brings together service design, UX, and design operations to create processes, programs, and experiences that serve people better.
With a background in user experience design, I’ve spent the past decade leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams, facilitating participatory workshops, and embedding design thinking into large, often constrained environments. I care about how design can be more inclusive, ethical, and operationally sustainable.
I’m especially drawn to projects that combine systems-level thinking with practical implementation and radical collaboration. I love improving services and advancing design practices within organizations.
I currently lead UX design operations for the Agency team at Scorpion, where I focus on improving how UX design work happens. This includes scaling processes and team collaboration to aligning user experience solutions with complex business and product constraints.
